Is there still a chance of a summer occurring this year?

The deeper we get into spring, the closer we get to summer, the colder it seems to be getting.

I woke up this morning and had to wash my face with the coldest water I've ever touched in my life. The boiler and central heating has frozen as far as I can tell, boiler man is overbooked and can only see us on Thursday. Room temperature is 15 Celsius with two electric heaters converting a combined six thousand watts of electrical energy to heat energy.

I'm getting fed up of seeing bald trees.

That wiki page is obviously a lie as such a thing can only happen because of climate change and that's only happening now because we're terrible humans who don't recycle our milk bottles and tin cans.

Snowed in April in 2008 I think. I was playing tennis, in the 'summer' term at school when it was coming down!

I was thinking exactly this earlier today.... A few weeks ago I was thinking "ah it seems to be getting warmer now and it will be summer soon" and it is actually now COLDER than it was before...

1975 saw snow in June. Snow in march is not that unusual.

My winter was spent 4 months in 30c heat. I'm guaranteed a summer as I will be back in the middle east for four months in May

Granted, winter 2011/12 was mild, but the proper winter took effect in April 2012. -4 or -5 every night, which ran well into May.

Summer what is this ? I don't know of such a thing, I only remember the warm weather and seeing the sun when I was lad and not locked in a office all year round........remember to put your clocks forward an hour on Sunday btw
