Battlefield is all about the mp, why they bother with sp is beyond me.

I played 1 mission on bf3 and couldnt cope woth the hand holding forced gameplay it was bad

Atleast we know if our pcs run bf3 well, it shouldnt have a problem with this

Same reason COD does, there is a large player base out there that have no want to play these things multiplayer.

So the screen shots are real, Frostbite 3. I feel a GPU upgrade comming on to play this at 60fps, wonder what I'll need, CF 7970's? Looks fantastic though.

I'd love to see what this looks like on current gen consoles, it wont even be close. Wonder if they'll bring it out a month later for the PS4

Game looks good but I didn't really see anything that I couldn't already do in BF3. Also seem to remember buying BF3 including all the weapons/unlocks for allot less than £50! I hope I can find it for a bit less somewhere else.

A direct assault against CoD with this one. Sure looks nice and more cinematic than BF3's single player but I care most about the multiplayer.

Given that one of them said "A single player game true to the Battlefield franchise." I'm not convinced that the makers know what Battlefield is.

Hmm not 100% impressed with the reveal trailer. Could do with being slightly longer I feel. Haven't watched the 17 minutes of gameplay yet so will be sure to watch that tonight.

However, either way I am not putting it down yet until I start seeing reviews come in (which I know will be a while), what you can do within the game i.e. soldier customisation, weapons, maps and if they have some innovative game mode or features.

Frostbite 3 tho I am sure will be stunning to look at and hopefully won't have some of the bugs that the current Frostbite engine has.

The EA hate train will rumble on but Dice still make a great multiplayer shooter.

Looks like more generic BF3-type rubbish. A betrayal of the proper BF games that came before - BF1942, BF2 and the finest of them all, BF2142.

All I can think when watching the BF4 video is (after yawning) WHY AM I BEING BLINDED BY THE Star it all out SUN AND GLARE FFFS FFS FFS FFS.

Just like I thought in every Star it all out BF3 map.

I thought it looked rather impressive to be honest!

Yep, its a typical fps and the graphics hasn't improved 1000 fold like some people seem to be expecting but it does look a lot better with the improved lighting and skyboxes. I had some fun with BF3 so I'm sure this shall continue to scratch that itch!
