lolz some people get so upset, for these people there is a simple fix, dont buy it
Carry on playing BF2, others have moved on

I see nothing in the video that makes it stand out from BF3. They'll have to do better than pretty gfx.

And why is the multiplayer not being shown? Nobody cares about singleplayer.

BF has ALWAYS been 99% about the multiplayer ffs.

In regards to your first sentence I think maybe you need to give it more time, stop being so critical and be more open to change. You have no idea what it is going to be like.

With all due respect I think maybe you need to move on and accept that games in the Battlefield franchise are no longer the same or will be the same as the games you have mentioned. Things change, requirements change, games change.

Also why swear unnecessarily? Also please fully star out swear words M'kay.

I love the way the BF community spent the last year and a half telling DICE how they HATE the overdone lighting/blur/tint/mud on screen etc etc effects and yet ...

look what DICE have done. BF4 is even worse than BF3 it appears.

I actually liked the BF3 SP, so to see they've improved on it with a better gfx engine and what looks like some crazy cinematic stuff going on is good news. The only new gameplay mechanic I saw beyond the signalling squad fire was the alternate sight on the AR, which will be handy in MP if it's carried over (more in-depth weapon customisation?)

Oh I already have. PS2 is more like BF which is sad really.

Lots of others have moved on as well. The Community that DICE built and fostered with three amazing games (1942/BF2/2142) is all but dead now.

Such a shame.

I'm pretty sure it's not too early. It will turn out something like BF3 i.e. not actually a BF series game but masquerading as one with all the elements that made a BF game ripped out of it.

Will get 90% + reviews no doubt.

I noticed it but thought it was a bit... silly? unrealistic? Anyway, I didnt like it.

Meh, pretty enough but there didn't seem to be anything in the trailer that moved things on from BF3.

For the first time in a long time this isn't going to be a pre order for me, i'll wait and see what happens in beta.

Yes, it showed a paucity of imagination that was rather sad. I think lots of people will be cautious about pre-ordering - in light of the EA/simcity scandal.

hmmm what we need is more sun blinding players more blurrr and what else can we do to not make players notice this is bad

It's just irritating because the community complained about the blur/blinding sun/glare/blue tint for SO LONG. And yet DICE are apparently just carrying out with it lol.

Just give us an option to turn it off please.

I tried BF3 the other day (the Planetside 2 servers were on maintenance) and coming from PS2 my eyes were hurting after playing BF3 for half an hour. The glare, dust, mud, blinding sun is just lol-worthy.
