No signal recieved from new Computer to monitor

Hello,

I recieved my new Titan 8700i Pulse today and upon switching on the desktop the monitor produced a message "No signal recieved from computer"

Initially I thought it a problem with the RAM for which I removed both 4gb slots and cleaned them and placed them into different slots as it was an issue I had a few years back with a computer then,this didn't work to any avail still producing the same message on the monitor when I switched everything back on.

Then I thought it may be the monitor so I then conntected my laptop with the monitor and the signal was recieved and showed up on screen the booting process etc etc and so I've concluded the monitor isn't faulty as I've tried both VGA and HDMI cables on both my Titan desktop and HP laptop.

I don't know what to do now I've tried everything I can think of and I'm starting to believe something was damaged during delivery. :confused:

How are you connecting the monitor to the PC? Have you tried the onboard GPU as well?

Could you provide a spec of the rest of your components and are you connecting the laptop/monitor the same way i.e. VGA/HDMI/DVI?

I've tried connecting via a VGA Cable and HDMI Cable to the motherboard and GPU slots hasn't worked unfortunately

You may need to turn the on-board graphics card off in the BIOS... Maybe?

You could try taking out the GPU, then trying the onboard again.

Could also try a CMOS reset and see if that helps, this will clear any overclocks the system may have by the way.

Got it working guys!

There was a wire loose on the motherboard just above the GPU (I think it was knocked out of place by the packaging in the case) Thanks for the help anyway lads!
