Bioshock 3 - Infinite

Took me just over 6 hours to complete. Not sure how I got through it that fast lol

:p My playtime is showing as just over 12 hours...got pretty much everything in the game although missing 1 or 2 things

Will be attempting 1999 mode at some point as apparently your decisions mean more and it's a lot more difficult...will be interesting to see how it pans out.

This was also my genreal thought on the games after also only getting them last year, although tbh I haven't really given them enough time to sit down and actually dedicate enough time to play through one without taking breaks and then picking it back up a week later and forgetting the story.

Finally had time on my hands to play this one straight through and it really pays off :)

lol at 10's for this game it's getting vastly overrated.

Nice graphics but quite frankly the gunplay is clunky and linear and don't get me started on the save game solution.

It's a linear on rails semi decent shooter with high production values but little in the way of gameplay depth bar searching every corner of the linear levels for loot.

A solid 8/10 but the gameplays far too linear and clunky to get a 10 just shows people really have become graphics w's.

What's a graphics w? :p

game seems to run with no stutter on 7970 crossfire at top dx11 ultra settings 1600p with a solid always 60fps with the WHQL 13.1 driver and windows 7. Before I installed windows 7 I had trouble getting performance and stability in windows 8.

Ow and Windows Live DRM + Constant crashing on Windows 7 also spoiled the experience.

So glad this game used steam, generally took me about 20 minutes to get Windows Live to work properly with one of the previous games.

need help/ideas

bank boss (ghost)
Cant seem to do it on hard, any suggestions? i have pretty much no ammo I tried fireballs at the mobs but then run out of salt for the protection when she goes nutts.

all i have is a sniper/shotgun with 5 ammo each. Elizbeth is no help at all. she hasn't given me salts health once in the 6 tries ive tried.

ideas?

i can give her dmg but then the minions kills me

EDIT: Didnt go into the room shot her with sniper 4 times = dead...

This one got me aswell, Like you said use fireballs while I had salts and then just camped near a vending machine to keep getting ammo as their was no way to go into the fight and fetch any as you died instantly seeing as they kept respawning...

I most famously didn't enjoy Bioshock... Installed it recently as I got it as part of the deal but still meh... Everyone billing it as FPS 2.0... Meh it was a good shooter, not much more.

See I don't even think it was a great shooter, what hooked me more was the whole setting and atmosphere.

Infinite on the other hand is actually feels like a better shooter, just doesn't have the dank creepy feel of BioShock. It's still a lovely looking setting, I just preferred underwater.

7 hours in so far, and the game certainly keeps getting better though... I am starting to see why critics gave it the scores they have.

Just finished this after playing 2 days non stop.

What a ****ing game! the gfx style really make the game and they brought a great story.

9/10 would go down on again

Another .cfg edit this one improve the loading and stops the Frame rate drop/stutter.

I have only tested one little part of the game and so far seems to have worked so let us know :D

in file XEngine.cfg (Documents\My Games\BioShock Infinite\XGame\Config)
change "bUseBackgroundLevelStreaming=true" to "bUseBackgroundLevelStreaming=false"
Then set the file to read only or the game will set it back to default.

i don't have this file .cfg?
