official nexus 7 dock back in stock.

Looks nice but seems quite expensive for what I conceive to be a piece of plastic or am I missing something?

I really need to pick up a Nexus 7, i've been itching to buy a tablet for months!

yes it is over priced however its built better than it looks and has quite a bit of weight to it. it's also the only dock that charges the tablet via the pogo pins rather than the usb.
the main reason i purchased it was because i wanted my tablet charged and ready at all times. i simply lift it out the dock charger and place back in when im done.
i've also got it set up as my clock / alarm weather station :D
the dock also has audio out as well for external speakers.
I shall be buying a bluetooth sound bar so i dont need that feature.

do buy the nexus m8 its really good and the games are great :)

If mine didn't live in a case all the time, then I might be tempted into one of these, but I value protection more.

well in the bedroom its me clock and weather station and if i take it out i just
pop it in a case. just like like putting your coat on to go out :D
