Audi owners in here!

I'm absolutely loving it! I gotta be careful though, you can so easily be doing 40 in a 30 zone without realizing, it's so smooth, effortless and your barely touching the throttle at that speed. Might have to switch the Speed Warning on, lol.

With the factory privacy rear glass and the electric blinds the little one falls asleep in the back in no time! :D

The only bill I've had (bar fuel :D ) is the service but even that wasn't as expensive as I expected, I took it to the Audi Specialist that looked after my old quattro... Full long life service and new front anti roll bar came in at a bit under £700.

Have you put pics up on OcUK? This is exactly the type of vaguely accessible car I want but cannot afford. How do you even begin to start working out which one to buy?

I have a question for the more experienced Audi owners here please.
I have an A6 , 2.8L petrol quattro, 3 years old (already purchased extended warranty) and when I start the car from cold, after 5-10 seconds the car shudder and shakes like the engine does not fire on all cylinders for a minute max then settles.
This happens only if I fuss around in car after ignition and not drive strait away. If after ignition i drive strait away there is no shake.
I am due for a oil change in 30 days or 3000 miles now, just seen on the computer but this happen during all cold weather period. Any ideas?? (I will obviously mention this when I take the car for oil change to service, apparently as part of extended warranty car needs to be serviced to an Audi approved service)

I simply don't use it enough. It's frivolous to keep it and I don't have private/underground parking so I get stressed out. I also have to travel a billion miles to get to anything resembling a fun road which means I never really get to enjoy it properly. A shame but that's the way it goes. The qS market seems to move slowly so I don't expect it will be going anywhere in a hurry.

Shame, but very sensible. Not much point owning a car like that if you can't really open the taps often enough. The Quattro sport is how the TT should always have been. 240ps version of the 1.8t, and a more balance and much lighter car. I wish they never bothered with the rear seats in the first place, you can only fit a midget in them.

Only the ones you've already seen in this thread (post #496) and a few more in the 'Show Us Your Motors!' Thread, starting at post #18308, it doesn't have it's own thread yet, was going to wait until I've given it a proper wash and we have some sort of sunny weather here so I can take some proper pics.

Got a few more pics I can add to this thread though:

My call is all booked in for the coil pack recall which is good.

Secretly I hope no one buys it so I can keep it, ha!

Got a new Audi a3 S-Line 1.4tfsi in white with bang and olufsen speaker upgrade on order but looking like the order books are stacked and getting a dealer delivery time of 31st of Aug which is a long way off but since its a company car and i still have my current one it isn't much of a issue.

Looking forward to it mind! :D:D

Thanks for the little update and sorry for the delay in response!

Glad everything going well on the ownership, hopefully you have a good one there any only cost you consumables!

Edit: I assume this is the exact same engine as in the Continental GT? My MD had the Bentley and I am sure for a similar service it was twice the price!

4 new coil packs courtesy of Wimbledon Audi and everything is running sweetly again. Also had the MOT done, seems it wasn't expiring in April like I thought, whoops.

I just love that A8L. It appeals to my inner boring and my new desire to ensure space, luxury, comfort and safety when transporting my family around. However I have a feeling that my family also want food on their tables so I'm not brave enough to run one.

Seats are pretty good, leathers a bit cheap feeling tho. Not keen on that seat colour and it does look a bit pov spec without the LED DRL's.

I take its a company car? Having spent 6 months in mine, I cant see why anyone would have a current gen A4 over the 3 series, im not disappointed in mine, I just dont think its much better than my old Accord and as a drivers car its a bit on the dull side
