Bioshock 3 - Infinite

To be honest, I'm not sure about this so far, I mean, its very pretty but so far (after about 5 hours or so) I'm just not really engaged with the storyline.

Hard is frustrating me so im going to normal. I like my games easy :D. Hate dying and reloading the same things over and over again.

Normally dying over and over means you're doing something wrong, tho...

At which point the choice is lower the difficulty and keep doing it wrong, or... play smarter ;)

I've not played this game so that's just a general observation, not a dig.

Just got this for £23.99 and was looking forward to playing this in 3d with Nvidia. However the 3d is not displaying correctly, any one else having issues. Looks almost like the glasses are not on in places! I have got the latest Nvidia drivers as well.

I was feeling the intrigue from the get go and now find myself fascinated with the story. It's its not got you 5 hours in then it's perhaps not for you really.

Latest drivers don't appear to include Nvidia 3d support. Are all games compatible by default or could it be the case it's not available on this title. For instance Crysis 2 didn't support amd support natively.

I don't want to be "that guy" but I'm not really feeling this so far.I mean don't get me wrong,it's good but I don't think it is anything groundbreaking. I've just met Elizabeth and got to soldiers fields and so far Its just bioshock in the sky with rapunzel.

let it get going, i thought it was turd at the start. half way it was when it grabbed me.

Looking forward to starting this tomorrow. All downloaded and ready to go.

Tbh, I was not interested in this game at all, only decided to buy it day before yesterday based on the reviews/comments/hype. Here's hoping it doesn't disappoint! :)

negatives
1. didn't find a gun i like 100% lot of them felt really weak. 50 bullets to the head not dead... (Hard mode late into game)

2. Mind**** i still don't know whats fully going on

3. Elizabeth helps loads in easy fights but never in harder fights (boss etc)

4. save system is annoying as hell. saves are quite regular but it says
"you last saved @ xx:xx pm" fine by whats the time now? < little niggy but they should have picked that up.

5. if you exit a the game between check points you have to do that section again. most time its 5-10 minutes but not the point. i want a save button.

6. there are enemies late in to the game that are so annoying that i dont want to play it because ill see them again..
the siren guys with there big headed pain in the bum minons that never die....
1. Shoot the head, it really doesn't take that much to kill people.

2. Pay more attention.

3. Yes.

4. You have Steam overlay/watch/clock, use it.

5. Yes..

Meh still no key from amd. Emailed them and they say it's been sent and to check inbox which I have course been doing every couple of hours. Replied and got the we'll reply with 2 working days message, which from the time I sent the email will mean nothing til after Easter. Rant over :)

Really loving this game so far. I wasn't a big fan of the original Bioshock at all - found the setting to be a bit claustrophobic and didn't like the shooting mechanics. No such problems with Infinite - the most original setting I've ever seen (although thinking about it, it's not that different to Super Mario 64 - just better realised! lol) and easily the most 'ambitious' game I've ever played.

Keep umming and ahhing about buying it, but I'm still reeling from missing out on the bundle deals that gave X-COM, original Bioshock and another game for £23.99.. now it's just BI for that price. :(

GMG might still have their bundles. I got Bioshock 1/2, Xcom and Infinite for £24.
