Company car renewal time coming up and considering my options from the above on my available list...Specifically the E250 SE, 520D M Sport Pro Nav or the A6 2.0 TDI.

I do have the option of dropping a class with a larger engine, 330D, A4 3.0TDI, C350 etc but not sold on that idea really.

Currently have an A5 which despite from an annoying armrest rattle is a solid enough car. Do fancy a change though and the F10 was the front runner, but the new E class does look rather good, and the A6 seems to have the nicest interior....

Comfort and standard toys (options are a no no) are the biggest requirement really as I tend to do quite high annual mileage on our lovely motorways so 'Power' is not the be all to me....

Anyone had any direct experience of the above?

Thanks in advance.

I am a huge F10 fan but I wouldnt want to make this decision without test driving the F30 330d. On paper it looks beyond stunning in terms of the performance on offer.

What do we mean here by "full online facilities"?

Even my A4 has "online" facilities.

Google stuff, which enhances the Sat Nav and is useful for finding telephone numbers, both something I want to do when driving. You also get call centre that you dial and they will do stuff remotely, like program your car and it says online on the menu too, so that's, er, nice. No need for a phone either, has 3G thingy built in.

Well since he specifically mentions that he's not that bothered about power, it's between the e class and the 5 series for me. Model up definitely wins here, and I think the f10 would swing it since the merc is just a face lift really :p.

In which case, the majority of that (certainly the google stuff) is also available on the A4 and A6 (as well as most of the Audi range now).

Cheers all.

Active suspension is not going to be an option, due to being a company car any added options are just not cost effective with tax. So standard it has to be.

Not convinced on the F30, had one as a hire car recently and whilst it was only the 320D the internal quality didn't seem the best with relatively cheap feeling materials with dash rattles - And I cannot stand rattles! Also I still find the 3 series feels quite small inside. I did have a E92 320D and that also was let down by poor materials. Years ago I had a VW Passat that felt like it was made of granite! Annoying that cost control is causing this downward spiral in quality from the 'premium' manufacturers.

Surprised to see that the A6 was a let down also in terms of perceived quality as all the reports claim it is put together very well.

There has been a real downturn in interior quality no question. Shame really as its about looking quality over being quality.

I dont know about the new 2013 eclass but my family have the older 2011 E-Class and its ok but the F10 is definitely a better car.
