I was never depressed about my flat chest and wasn’t teased at school about it

With all respect mate, someone who is depressed wouldn't be worrying about the size of their boobs. So that is a load of rubbish.

Two, if the boob job cost is smaller than the NHS resources she would have wasted trying to otherwise solve her problem, then the taxpayer wins surely?

Still, her face was the real priority.

I've never understood this "tax payer" malarkey, either. The government takes our money so it is now theirs to spend as they wish. Do you go into a shop, pay for something, and then demand what they do with it? Of course you don't.

Quite a bit different. You choose to go into a shop to exchange goods or services for money. The Government doesn't give you a choice so should be limited to what they can take and spend.

That said, if she were legitimately depressed there are some arguments to give her fake boobs but it still doesn't look that way from the picture and I still don't understand giving her ones that'll draw so much attention to her.

If you're depressed because you're not famous, you can **** off.

Which is understandable, although I can't help but think that counselling might have been a better, cheaper solution.

That said, even if it was deemed that surgery was the most appropriate outcome, they should have brought her up to a 'normal' breast size for a girl her age, instead of entertaining her dumb dream of being a fap-mag model by giving her balloon-sized boobs.
