I've been looking at the new blackwidow for a while now...

I don't know if its backlit, but the reason I like the look of it is because its 5 macro keys are very close to where my left hand normally play and seem a logical place to put them compared to where I've seen macro key's placed before!

If your thinking about a mechanical keybaord, reading a little into the diffference of the Cherry MX keys might be worth it, im sure you might already know however here's a brief guide...

qpad mk-85 are decent enough for that price, mechanical, backlit, some macro keys and usb / headphone passthru. fairly sturdy.

I've been using the Gigabyte Osmium for a couple of months now, I would definitely recommend it.

Any way to tell if a version on sale is UK layout? ocuk don't have it in stock atm and everywhere seems to use pictures of the US layout regardless of what they're actually selling.

Most UK retailers will sell the UK layout even if the US version is pictured.

Ok I only ask as some brands specifically mention uk layout in the name or specs whilst gigabyte apparently don't. Thanks.

If you want to be sure just email or phone before ordering. All of OCUK's keyboards are UK layout, I remember Gibbo telling people on the forum before.
