she didn't even see a psychologist ? sounds like her doctor just gave her a referral her no questions asked.

there is no incapacity benefit anymore btw it's now ESA

I know and it's annoying that people have latched on to comparing these stories. Unfortunately people are never going to get £1m from the NHS for experimental treatment in another country. Many people are unable to join clinical trials in this country.

I don't know whats worse, the fact that it was funded by the NHS, (i can tell) they are obviously fake, or that face.

If i saw that on page 3, i think i'd hurl up all over the paper (not that i read the papers anyway...)

Yes I am annoyed that she got it done on the NHS though. There are far more important things that the money should be spent on than some girl who wants to look like Jordan but can't afford it.

Perhaps you'd care to define what you characterise as "real sufferers of depression" though? And why you believe that addressing physical features that the person believes are a problem cannot help with depression?

Basic point here but mental issues are often hugely complex with a myriad of causes and also of connected strands, these aren't always obvious regarding the causes or the effects so addressing them isn't necessarily easy. To state baldly that something won't work just because it doesn't fit with your experience of mental illness is just possibly a little bit presumptuous.
