Galaxy Ace 2?

I need a spare phone, I am currently using a Galaxy Mini and I am finding it painful. I've been offered one of these, boxed as new (only used for around a month) but in mint condition, for £95. Is it worth it??

I'd say yes, I got £70 for my Ace with case in Dec last year so £95 is sound for an as new Ace 2 IMHO.

He said it's locked on Virgin, and I need it on T-Mobile (EE). Are these easy to unlock? I'm assuming a T-Mob sim won't work in a Virgin locked handset. He can't test it out for me because he doesn't have any other network sim cards.

They're £130 brand new so it's got to be worth a shout. They are great phones for the money and do everything without issue.

I went and picked this up earlier, boxed in as new condition with everything included. We agreed on £90 if it's locked and £95 if my SIM works, and it did thankfully! :)

It's a million times better then the awful Galaxy Mini, this at least feels like I'm using a smartphone. Whats the latest firmware available for it?

Was pleasantly surprised to find that Sky Go works on this. :)

Can someone confirm how much internal storage this has? I read it has 4GB yet mine only has just over 1GB.

For anyone interested, the 4.1.2 Portuguese official firmware works great when flashed over the top of one of the previous JB leaks.
Sure the UK release will be out soon, but we were tired of waiting for the gf's phone. Gingerbread is just too damn old, its disappointing that its taken so long to get a proper official ICS/JB release.

Worth doing the update, easy enough and performance is good. All the Portuguese network branding is removable, has the normal Samsung bloat though... Stock camera finally has zoom... :)
GF still hates it, and I can't say I'm a fan of the Ace2 from what I've seen, still... Updates are updates.

From what I've read, stock GB is faster than Jeallybean atm. Samsung have said they're going to be rolling out an update to fix the issues with JB.

Took an absolute age to even get the 4.1.2 build out there, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Samsung to get any fixes out for it...
GF is happier with the phone after using the update for a while, it's still not great but far less apps force closing, or random reboots.
