That thing is voltage unlocked and beats well clocked 680's for fun. Do it op.

The only 7970 I would get tbph, that beast is mental, plenty users will confirm.

Only if you're going to rip the cooler off it. I couldn't be bothered to personally - would rather spend a touch more on a voltage unlocked custom cooled model than pay extra for an after market cooler and then fit it as well.
If water cooling or happy to manually fit a cooler yourself then yeah it's decent.

It is loud over 60% but you should be good up to around 1150-1200 core at 60% or i was anyway.

^ Good decision. That card looks like it should keep cool and quiet and give you a lot of overlcocking headroom.
