im relatively new to gaming and building pc's i havent yet built my first pc as i want to do some research on parts and know about them but ive near enough learnt about most pc components however i have no idea about good and bad motherboards, im thinking about using an i5-3570k in my build, which is the best mobo for around £90 +- £50 ?

Quality of components, features you need and Bios / stability at any given price level.

Gigabyte D3H is a great choice at this level as is the ASUS LX2 for that CPU.

Thanks, can it be said that these 2 motherboards are the best for 1155 at around £100 ?

yes! Gigabyte are one of the best manufacturers around, don't often hear a bad story about them and even so they have a reputable RMA service.

Asus make the best boards for overclockers but that's in the more expensive market.

I'd go for Gigabyte at your price.

Yes they are the best or I would not recommend. I have tested both and infact all in the sector.

This is the worst board I have ever had, unstable, clunky bios and looks really tacky.

You must have been unlucky, in years of building my own and friends pc's its the best board I've used so far in the price range. I would have to say its the only board I could recommend for the up to £100 pound bracket.

Mine runs my 3570 @ 4,7 and is %100 stable
