I had one new in 2007, loved it. No issues in the 2 years I kept it for and was racking up a lot of miles on it. if it was me I would find one with the Sport package and navigation COMAND.

Pretty solid reliable car, injector seals fail - no biggy, an 07 won't be rusty - no worries, check for fuel leaks - pipes can become brittle.

I take it the 4 pot is considerably more reliable than the 280/320cdi?
I've heard a lot of negatives about the 6 cyl (2006+)
