Electric Shaver

been using a electric shaver for 20+ years - Ive used a norelco which I think they are called phillips here in the UK -
Im the dude shaving at waterloo train station if you see me :)

I find my old Philips triple round head shaver gives a better shave than the Braun.

ya I use the same type - Ive heard people say braun gives a better shave but the whole screen thing put me off.

shavers tend to last awhile too last one I had lasted like 7 years only just replaced it 1.2 years ago.

The best thing about the Braun is the self cleaning part. I guess you can get the same with Philips but i didn't have that model although i could still run it through under the tap.

I knew Dimple would've already replied to this thread, and would've recommended Braun.

I will second his recommendation.

Yep - been a phillishave user since I was 16. I'm on my 5th or 6th one, I buy the rechargeable ones (the one I have now is the least I've paid for one, £20 from Sainsburys) usually the batteries die before the heads wear out, cheaper to buy a new one than get spare parts. I made the mistake of buying a foil shaver some time ago & the foil split while I was shaving. It cut my face badly & I ended up binning it as the foils cost more than what I paid for it.

i use the istubble, can shave to 0.4mm which isnt a lot really.. with the head off you can get it down real close but not as close as a wet razor but enough to look a tidy shave

hmmm know what you mean about the blades - although my last razor cost about 80 usd - I think to replace the blades they are around 32~
