Might try Pique again today, make a 4321 random hybrid with IF Villa and see what happens!
Not using Casillas again though and Diego Lopez was sadly underwhelming, I may bite the suicide GK bullet and try Diego Alves :( He has amazing times and terrible times, reminds me of IF Cesar last year!

The easy thing would be to remove Lavezzi. Replace him with Robben or similar - which then allows you to use RVP as a CM or IF De Guzman.

Or if you swap Ribery and Lavezzi, then get ridof Ribery for Robben or another. You can swap Tevez. Or use someone like Pastore. Silva will have many links to those in front allowing you to swap out Maicon for someone who doesn't play in the BPL. For example, Van De Wiel, who would link to RVP or Guzman in front.

Lots of options!
 
I'm sure a 9 chem Menez will do just as good of a job as Lavezzi. I don't think I've ever found a ST to be good at CM, I'm used both Rooney and Tevez there and were like ghosts.
 
It boils down to the AI essentially; Playing players out of position just doesn't seem to work as well as it potentially could.

Else you'd see lots of ST's as CB's for example. Or bale at left back.
 
Anyone else noticed 4321 formation cards (Xbox) have jumped a bit in price recently?

Demand or price fix? Either way it's annoying.
 
Totally forgot about the "evil" team, that was just a thought on what could be done with the players I have, I'm more than happy with Lavezzi - Ibra - Menez in my team right now, then Ribery - Remy - Ben Arfa in the frenchies team :)
 
Is 8mbps broadband enough to play this game online? Reason why I ask is that I have recently moved house and this is the speed that we get from Sky. Every game I have suffers from micro-pausing and lag. I am using my PS3 wireless but it has 100% signal strength. I may upgrade to Fibre and use homeplugs IF 8mpbs and wireless isn't sufficient to play.
 
8mbps is more than enough, I used to play on 0.5mb at my parents and unless someone started web browsing or downloading I could never tell :p

Nothing stopping you using both :). I'd rather have Di Natale more central but him and Miccoli are very similar. Di Natale is better overall so I placed him through the middle.

IF Miccoli as a CAM and Di Natale as a CF. Miccoli really works well as a CAM in a 4231. Both Tim and I use him there.

do you have IF Palacio?
 
Sold IF Miccoli, found him less effective than the NIF, at least not more effective, may end up going IF Palacio/Zarate at CAMs, Di Natale at CF and Balotelli, possibly IF at ST.

have you tried Balo or Palacio at CF? thinking balo at CF could be good, big and strong for holding up the ball.. but not great passing!

I have Reus at CF in my german 4231 team and he's great there, I guess Palacio plays like Reus?
 
I loved Balo at CAM in 352, but that has 2 strikers, I just can't see him really helping the flow of play there (CF in 4231), easier to have him charging into defences at ST and having the little guys behind to pick up the debris :)

Ok i've changed my team and played around with it a little. I feel like I have a strong squad as I have Vermalen, Suarez, Mikel, Walcott, Balotelli, Dempsey on the bench.

I have 20k to improve. Any ideas?

Nasri at CAM
Podolski RST not LST
Torres out for Balotelli
Bale LM when you can afford, Nani is wasted there, more of a LW/LF.
 
im loving using cavani at the minute at cf in a 4-3-1-2- well worth trying if anyone is thinking of a serie a team using a cf

maybe a strange one because of his workrates but he always seems to just be in the right place at the right time with good heading and shooting and power
