Does a tablet exist that can do the following:

~10” HD screen (I’m blind as a bat, so need a big screen).
Android.
Has a mains dock and will display the time (when docked) and can be used as an alarm clock.
Has GPS and maps.
Camera.
Skype (optinal).
Email/internet (I presume these are pretty standard).
Decent battery life (3h+ on the GPS).
Wifi.
3g (optional).
Under £200.

Am I having a laugh, or does such a thing exist?

You're having a laugh! Anything at that price will not we worth having imo.

Check out the Nexus 7 instead, I know it's smaller, but it's cheap!

Fair enough. :)

How much would this cost:

9” HD screen (I’m blind as a bat, so need a big screen).
Has a mains dock and will display the time (when docked) and can be used as an alarm clock.
Has GPS and maps. (important)
Camera.
Decent battery life (3h+ on the GPS).
Wifi.

I can't go any smaller on the screen as being able to see it is quite important. :)

If I can't get all of those features, what would you say is the nearest alterative?

^ That looks quite nice. Think I might invest in one of them for my holiday. How long did it take to be delivered??

yep, dont, think it has a rear cam, but i might be wrong. def has a front facing one.

have a look on youtube, for reviews. it has the best screen going tablet wise.

It's a big chunk more than I was hping to spend, but if I've learned anything in the past it's that compromising and buying cheap often leads to dissapointment, and sometimes the later purchase of the more expensive item anyway.

Can you tell me if it does GPS without wifi or 3g?

I'm off to look up reviews now.

GPS can work independent of any data connection (wifi/3g), so yes you can use it to navigate without wifi/3g as long as you download maps and save them for offline usage.

Actually, one last thing, is this a built in feature of the app/software, or is some horrible hack or immense amount of dicking around required?

Has a decent rear cam, amazing tablet, best screen, be speakers, really nice Internals, and is quiet light.

If you want the Nexus 7 and you can wait there should be a near versions (Might bring the current one cheaper if they keep it) which is faster, better battery life, better screen for the same price.
