Why would you even think this was a good idea when he is such a high profile person. I mean a Big Mac!...surely a McChicken Sandwich is healthier?

I think there's a question for government and society about the influence of public school entitlement culture on society.

I wonder how the general public will react to this. There was a photo posted by someone on Hants Police's Facebook page last week of a police car parked across a double of disabled bays outside a McDonalds. Everyone went crazy about it, saying the usual "One rule for them, another for us!" etc, until Hants offered the explanation that there'd been a 999 call from the premises about a group of youths causing trouble and the officer in that car had responded to it and left his vehicle there has it was the closest place to the door to stop.

Still, that didn't seem to change many people's attitudes towards it, apparently he should still have found time to park the car properly. Lots of comments about taxpayers money being wasted on police driving BMWs too. Rather amusing.

Seriously, why should he care? No matter how badly he does in office, no matter how disliked or hated he is, he will still walk away as a very wealthy man with a circle of very wealthy and powerful friends (oh, and also a few titles).

It is a fault ingrained within our political system, and it'll not change any time soon, sadly. The man was booed by 1,000,000,000,000,003 people at the Olympics (I did a quick head-count) and it didn't affect him - one disabled bay pales in comparison.
