i havent had car long

Car has been remapped (have reciept) and is pretty powerfull

Yep black wheels look terrible on any car imo (including the ones posted here unfortunately, thats no reflection on the cars themselves though) - some can pull off a grey of some sort but generally speaking silver looks much better than anything else.

haha, both my cars are currently running on black wheels! I just got the ones on the mini as they needed refurbed anyway, was going to go for a graphite grey finish but imo black suits the car better - still got the original wheels in silver so will add some photos to my selling ads of it on the silver rims, didn't realise there was so much hate for black wheels!

I couldn't ....I was investigating change....I've had this car for for years...I wanted to freshen it up but it backfired

Black needs bigger spokes to even start to look ok. Gunmetal could be an option.

Gunmetal can look fantastic on silver cars, I've been in love with the SL65 wheels ever since I saw them years ago.

Give it a proper detail / paint correction, replace any scuffed / broken bits of trim, attack black trim with back to black, replace manky numberplates, and get the wheels refurbished in silver. That's the best way to freshen it up

Personally I dont like it, looks to 'tacky' I would stick with the original wheels. although if your going for the 'drug dealer' look go ahead

...being serious though, the thing that always grates on me with black wheels is just how brown they make the tyres look. That's what kills it.

Black wheels and freshly blackened tyre walls = nice

Black wheels and fading brown tyre walls = not nice.

Painting the wheels silver or gunmetal would have worked better.
