It's you who is advocating the removal of something, not me. It's great that you've correctly identified you can relock your car if you want to check its locked. Thats brill. I'm pleased for you. But the pin is useful too - as you can tell simply by looking and without even needing to press anything.

Why remove it? Suits everyone when its there. Those of you who prefer to press the remote to check its locked can do that. Those of us who prefer to glance at the car can do that. You even get a flashing LED too! Happy days?

I like my pin...I want it to stay...Its handy in tesco's when I'm suffering from a flash of OCD

They are exactly the same type of cars as the ones BMW makes - targeting more or less the same market. If an Audi A5 Sportback is a 'Dad car' then so is a 3 Series GT.

I think Audis generally look better (perhaps too overstyled) but even with BMWs dubious looks I'd take one over an Audi any day of the week.

Modern BMW's are not what they were, F10 is lovely but isn't quality I'd expect. Chatting with a mate who has the new M6 he feels its not worth 60k let alone the 100k it was. They've dropped the ball and don't take a nice looking design and fit as quality as living with the F10 I can confirm it is lovely but there are cut corners.
