Well that's just silly. People should post random pictures of stuff they see people buying in Tesco then etc etc.
lol.
These were need for work and it was the closest store that sold them

As you can see they cost £9.98. A local computer shop was going to charge £1 per 1 meter i told them where to stick it![]()
We had a fair bit of cat5e but couldn't find any rj45 plugs :/Still mad prices... 100m of Cat5e is about £15 and all you need do is crimp it.
Mind you, not much you can do if you need it right this second!![]()
Was a military operation getting it into its home![]()
I never thought I'd say this about one of your purchases IronWarrior, but I'd wear that.
Did you get the case for the HDD?
Yes. I do weekly backup sync runs of my document and OS drives onto a docked disk and then keep the disk safe elsewhere. The flight case will hold more than one disk, my disaster recovery system is growing.
I couldn't decide getting this, yours or just a bog standard External HDD.
Getting an internal HDD will mean I need a dock.
mrk why a flight case? looks funky though ha ha!
Internal disk for me, my case has a SATA dock built into the top so I just plug it in and off it goes (hotswap SATA FTW). Also it's convenience above all else. A USB3 enclosure requires external power or extra cables as does eSATA.
Better protection inside than any other case.
