anyone recommend a decent helmut for general cycling - mostly down forestry tracks and the like?
have just invested in a better bike and have spd pedals etc so know there will be a coping over at somepoint and maybe a helmet would be a good idea! not sure what I should be looking for and what brands are good etc

cheers

All helmets have to comply with the relevant safety regulations, so once you get past that your main factors are:

1) Weight
2) Style
3) Cost

Pick 2 of three.

that looks hilarious!

Looks a lot better when it's on. I have the Giro Feature which I replaced my 661 Recon with, I love it. Not the best looking, but amazingly comfortable.

Also my brother has a Met Terra, that seems very comfy, and I think it looks fine - as far as helmets go.

They have small and medium in stock of the Feature at Je James for 40.99, not bad at all for that kind of price.
