Lords of Football

I took the plunge, Steam downloads nothing though and tells me "Missing executable".
I guess it's not quite released yet :(

lol at the game, looks awful and asking £25 for that must be a joke.

It would actually be nice if there was a genuine competitor for Fifa and Pro Evo to shake up the footy sim market.

I just saw this game myself, and while it doesn't look the best the actual idea behind the game seems pretty ok. Just before I came here I took a quick look at the steam forums and most of people who got this game think it's pretty good.

Saying that I think I will hold off a week or two and see what the opinion is then.

I just don't get this at all, not sure if I'm missing something or it really is that abysmal. It's just a series of unlocks, despite all the facilities there in front of you, you can't use them til you unlock it, cannot stand this type of gameplay. Classic case of trying to do everything but sucking at it.

Stick with FM ;)

Concept actually interests me but I suspect it will be poorly executed. I played a similar-ish game called New Star Soccer several years ago that was surprisingly addictive, it was basically like Sensi Soccer but with training modes to boost your skills and some random off the pitch stuff.
