580gtx to a 680gtx ??

Not a big enough jump for the cost IMO...I'd wait for next gen cards if I were you.

I'm itching with my 580, but to be fair, it's not struggling with anything right now. When the '780' comes out, my itch will need to be scratched I think. ;)

Really depends on what resolution / Hz / if you are using 3D.

For me it's about the games not so much the benchmarks. My 580 plays all the current games I buy at full settings @ 1080p. As has been mentioned, I don't find the 680 a big enough jump to justify the expense. That's my personal opinion. When Maxwell GPU's come out, I'll look again.
