Goodbye Tractor - hello Replacement!

I test drove a C250 CDI Blue Efficiency a while back, it was also the AMG Sport version with the same wheels. Had paddles too. Thought it was a very nice drive actually. Driving seat is a bit small though in these.

More a side grade. The Mrs had the ML. The C will be mine and off to Ford to pick up a Kuga.

Two nice cars for the price of one and cheaper maintenance across both :)

I dont see why youre taking the mick out the Sport Extrm Plus+ branding. The red stitching on the steeringwheel is so zaney and out there, no normal name would do it justice

Alloys ming hard, but overall like the look of the C-Class. Actually the whole MB range looks pretty nice at the moment. Also that centre console is VERY Vauxhall, not sure if want.

Surely what it cost in maintenance would in the future have been offset by lower depreciation?

Not really when the cost for

2 new tyres
4 pads
2 discs
2 bulbs
labour

Was over £1700 before I did a deal when going for the swap - everything on the C will be cheaper :)

Tax, fuel, tyres, brakes etc :)

But the C will lose more money than the ML - a 2009 ML has lost the majority of its new price, a 62 plate C has not?

Besides, I'd be amazed if the best price you could find for 2 tyres, 2 brake discs and 4 brake pads really was as much as £1700.

I don't understand why everyone focuses on tax and mpg when looking at the cost of owning a car and more or less totally ignores depreciation.
