Have any you guys/girls ever suffered from tennis elbow ??

Reason why am asking is that I have had it now for a few months and am wondering how long it took was for anyone else to get over it.

I was diagnosed with tennis elbow although it's more RSI as it was caused by using the keyboard and mouse too much without resting. Pain up both forearms and wrist and it's been like it for about 2.5 years now.....but all cases are different ;)

Had it, ended up having surgery as mine would never heal. That was after having 3 lots of steroid injections.

Annoying thing now is I'm suffering from golfer's elbow on the same damn arm and that's had 2 lots of steroid injections so I'll probably end up needing surgery for that!

Had tennis and golfers elbow at various times from climbing but with rehab and rest they healed after about 9 months. I found that without the rehab they would recover to a point where they didn't hurt but as soon as I did anything climbing related, they would flare up again. Its hard to say where to look without knowing how bad it is.

Not sure if i have tennis elbow but it's the same pain and area as tennis elbow, I took a week off the Gym and then lifted heavy and i felt the pain again. This time i taken 2 weeks off and lifting lighter to begin with, Pain seems to be going down.

Same kind of thing for me...

Rested my elbow over the easter holidays and it made it feel much better...
Then next day at work I had to do some heavy work and the pain came straight back to what it was before I rested it...

This is really Not a good thing to have with my kind of job..I work as a Fitter & Mechanic on Heavy Plant Machinery ..

Yes. About three to four years. I still get a twinge now and again, but not often. How old are you? Was this brought on by something you do, or just age (like me).

One bit of advice: if you are offered the steroid injection option by your doc, it hurts. A lot. It makes the pain go away though, for several months at least.
