Expensive speaker cables worth it?

Need to buy some longer speaker cables and noticed the prices on some are really expensive, is it worth the extra £?

Not really. As long as it's OFC (oxygen free copper) it doesn't matter. You don't have to spend much at all to get decent cable. I'm using some Van Damme cable which is around £2pm.

No no no. I would usually buy the cheapest branded cable but generic is probably the same.

Same here, its great speaker cable. If you search ebay you can get the 2 x 1.5mm for £1.57 per meter.

Coat hangers work just as well but aren't so convenient as cables.

Yeah those plastic ones are hard to get around tight corners
