Hi all,

Looking for help In choosing a new mouse and mouse mat.

I currently own a DeathAdder with a QPAD CT which I've had since 2007 and while It's still going strong I fancy something new.

I've narrowed it down to three different mice.

Razer DeathAdder 2013 - How much better then the original 1800dpi version??

Corsair Vengeance M65 - Don't know much about these mice, can anyone persuade me?

FEENIX Nascita - Not many peeps know of this mouse, specs are up there with the best. A couple of people I know have this mouse and really like it, though has to be shipped from USA. :/

As for mouse mat, should I just purchase a new CT or can any of you guys recommend me a better one? I dig cloth mats but If theres a plastic mat that works well I'll consider it.

Cheers In advance. :)

I know this is not none your choices but have you looked at the steelseries qck heavy mousepad and the steelseries sensei.

Top gear IMO

Can't really comment on mice (only have a G500; nice mouse but not sure if that's what your after), but for mouse mats, I've loved using my Razer Goliathus mat every second of using it. Very hard wearing 'cloth' type mat, and rubber backed too so it won't slide about. Really nice to touch as well (that might sound a bit camp but it's true :o)

Got a M90 myself and can happily save the response times and build quality are superb. I get excited every time I use the scroll wheel. :D

But I would reccomend the M65 over the M90.

What's the excitement over the scroll wheel? Does it free spin?

Made me laugh though :)

Just bought a G500 after my G5 gave up (albeit after 7+ years of Battlefield related abuse).

Have to say, it achieves everything you could want from a cabled mouse. Ergonomic, responsive, and has enough buttons to cater for the amateur gamers needs at a decent price.

Cheers all for comments, I've read theres a some sort of "Gaming Bunker" at my local World of PCs so will take a look at a few things.

I've not had a Logitech mouse In many years so will look around at those too, Steelseries looks pretty nice too.

@Bacon? You're very kind to offer me your Mouse Mat, while not to be ungrateful I'm really looking for a cloth mat instead. Appreciate the offer though cheers ;)
