V8UK Launch & 50's and 60's Weekender

Yesterday was the V8UK Launch (@ Paragon in Northampton) and also the 50's and 60's Weekender (@ Ken's Diner nr Wellingborough). We even had a convoy of V8s from one t'other about noon! We took the Firebird which did pretty well other than some overheating issues.

On to the pics:

Overall a pretty good day (we had nearly 70 vehicles at the V8UK Launch, albeit around 50% were Monaros or VXR8s!), and it was so busy at Ken's that it was almost impossible to get a space! Highlights for me were the convoy and my wife coming 2nd in the pinup competition at Ken's!

I saw a black hotrod (flat top roadster) and a C4 Corvette in convoy going through Nottingham yesterday afternoon. Wonder if they were related to this?

Eitherway there looks to be some awesome cars there!
