Hi guys,

Just a question regarding recommendations on Steering Wheels as frankly I do not have a clue.
I have just bought Dirt 2 and found that the Keyboard is horrible to play it on and am now thinking of getting a steering wheel and maybe some pedals depending on price as I do not play many racing/driving games.

So what wheels and/or pedals would you guys recommend?

Tom

No idea whats new these days but I ALWAYS wanted a G27steering wheel by Logitech, it had 3 pedals, 6 gears w/ reverse and I think it was a whole 900° rotation each way....however...£250 at the time.

It also seems they no longer sell it.

EDIT: It was a G27, not G200, I think.

Logitech Driving Force GT/Trustmaster F430 are both good choices for a decent amount of money. Given you aren't playing Sims I'd not suggest the higher end stuff as it would be 'wasted' on those types of games. If you plan on playing something more hardcore or are flush for cash then by all means consider the Logitech G27 or even the Trustmaster T500.

So basically, anything by Logitech or Trustmaster!

I bought myself the T500 RS when OCUK had it on deal before Christmas and damn it is good!

The power of the thing is so strong that after a few days of playing I thought something was wrong with my real cars as the steering felt so light!

On full power it is like having a good workout while you play.

Also the pedal box is great, so much weight to it that it doesn't move about and you can adjust everything so I went outside and measured my cars pedal layout and now the spacing is exactly the same which is really nice.

I don't know about current driving games or sims but I am been using mine with Project CARS and it has been flawless!

Fanatec CSR Elite + Fanatec ClubSport V2 pedals :)

Logitech Driving Force GT gets recommended a lot.

Even cheaper, get a X360 pad. If you just want to play racing games in reasonable comfort, a pad is quite good. Keyboard is so 1990's.
