OcUK Rolling Road Day 15 @ PowerStation (Tewksbury) - Saturday April 20th 2013

I wouldn't be so sure... think of it the other way, lower power does NOT equal slower on a track!, It's what it does with that power. Also, no point having massive power and a retard in the drivers seat lol. The way the RX8 is, I'll be lucky to hit 200 again rofl, could show 150bhp, 200bhp or 250bhp... lets just hope it's something good lol.

I think over 250
For mine? Not a hope in hell will I hit that, if I did I'd be astounded... I reckon 210bhp... weird thing is, it does feel quicker than that, so who knows. You kknow, we should put a prediction bhp on the original list, that way see who's the most accurate... for me, I'm going....

Predicted BHP - 210bhp

Yes for you!

I think the dyno dynamics that you went on is not too accurate for engine power.

I think you will have gained at least 40bhp from stock power.

Once you run can ask the operator if they have any stock RX8 on file to compare with.

Good idea actually yeah, didn't think of that, they must have a stock one on file somewhere... as long as it's a bit more the better :D

exactly, last track day I was at with gibbo, I mentioned how quick I thought the mountune focus ST in the next garage was going to be.

I was then massively surprised when I was all over the back of him.

My Abarth 500 is quoted at 135bhp at stock from the factory. However the Esseesse remap should put it up to around 155~160bhp. There have been a few reports that this is a conservative estimate so it will be interesting to see what it actually gets :).

I meant my car is the slowest on the list.

I beg to differ young man! :D

The diesel smoking rep-mobile of doom (the trusty Mondeo) should be below you unless there's something serious wrong with your car. I'm hoping for a slight increase over my last 180hp-330ft/lbs as I've replaced the knackered/leaking mild steel exhaust with a free-flowing stainless one and also want to see if my injector issue has cleared up.

why have I been moved massively down the list. I was one of the first to run! Tell scottiB to GTFO.

I WAS SECOND, I DEMAND TO BE RE-INSTATED

The running order has nothing to do with the intitial of people putting their names together, the order is always sorted just before the actual event, to group certain cars together. As to anyone personally which position they run in is pretty mute point, its an all day event, so mingle and get some pax rides in other cars. :)

So in short, TOUGH!

Should order it by wheelbase from longest to shortest so less adjustments on the machine.

Have fun looking up all the stats of cars and working it out :p

I hope for a nice round 650 but could be lower than last time with a better curve.

The MX5 driven by -westy- and the MG should be around 120hp so on that front you'd beat them. ;)

It takes no time at all to adjust the rollers so the wheelbase doesn't matter. :p

SW/Bristol convoy thread up in plenty of time:

At least I'm above AM. I want to see this famous 220BHP.

Pretty pointless, it takes Andy no time to move the dyno around with his remote control. :D

Like you say it would take me longer to look it up and put in order than it would for Andy to use his remote control.

Its grouped so RWD first, then FWD finishing up with 4WD cars, trying to keep specific manufacturers/types together. :)
