Gadget Show 2013 pictures thread

Looks like everyone was having a good time. Hope it helps to get more people interested in PC gaming and overclocking :).
 
Good to see 5ub has saved the day with some pictures of the ladies.

I had a small chat with 8pack while he was doing some overclocking, didn't get the chance to speak to 5ub, but saw him about.

Delighted that the TV show is reverting to it's previous format with Jon Bentley back again.

I had a good day at the Gadget Show on Friday. It was nice to have a quick chat with 5UB again even though he didn't recognise me at first. Mind you, it has been a couple of years since we last met and then we were both kitted out in our best black tie and had consumed more than a few beverages :)

The show wasn't as busy as I expected it to be and it was easy to get a good look at the stands without being swamped by people. The only downside was the 'hard sell' act that a lot of the exhibitors tried. I didn't specifically go there to buy anything, rather to have a good mooch around and so I ended up using the approach of "I'm not buying today but I'd like to know more about this". Generally that worked although I could tell that in some cases I wasn't treated as enthusiastically as I might have been if I'd been seen as a potential punter.

I'd much prefer to go on a trade/press day where that pressure to buy isn't there.

On the whole though, I enjoyed the day out with my family.
 
Yes that's 8 pack, and I did notice now you come to mention it there were a few exhibitors whose faces fell when I said I'd go away and think about a prospective purchase.
