Gaming at 58" 2560x1080 @120hz anyone ?

Want. Such a shame Vizio don't bother with Europe some of their kit is great. Philips has some equivalents but I'm not sure they've continued their 21:9 line this year?

now correct me if i'm wrong but hdmi does not support 120hz from the gfx card, link to specs

Is it true 120Hz or takes a 60Hz signal and interpolates it to 120Hz? (with maybe some post-processing).

There's also this to consider:

And while the TV has a native resolution of 2,560x1,080 pixels, unfortunately you can't use this to display a wide desktop from your PC. While it would accept a signal at that resolution, I found it scaled it back to 1,920x1,080. Pushing the Auto Stretch button ended up with noticeable text artifacts, which made it unusable for general computing -- but gaming was a lot of fun!

Shame they didn't go into more detail here...

They also didn't mention input lag.
It just seems like an odd scaled big TV, nothing special about it, doesn't seem to be good in any department, very reflective, colours not intense, can't do blacks well, poor at stretching, nothing native available for its res.
I don't see the point.

Its stupid they didnt add a DVI-D or a DP port... useless

Fully agree, and this makes me want an answer to the question posted above, I.e., is this even true 120hz? If so then I'm not seeing an input that would support the required bandwidth...
