Hey,

Thinking of adding another 460 and was wondering what kind of performance boost I could expect to get? Also what other single cards could you compare it too?

It's the EVGA GTX 460 1GB SC Cards.

Also I forgot to add system specs, current specs are:

i5 2500k @ Stock
8GB RAM
EVGA GTX 460 SC
Corsair (Seasonic OEM) 750W

1920x1080

I see your point but, that wont happen for a while, so I was thinking this may be a cheap upgrade that'll see me over.

iirc GTX460 SLI performs somewhere in the region of a GTX580.

Don't go nuts on the AA and you'll have a nice performance boost.

Well it will give you a nice boost in some games I'm sure, could do with overclocking that CPU a bit though, what's a 2500K doing at stock?!!?

No balls :D

I did once take it to 4.5GHz still on stock volts I believe, maybe I'll hop into the Ask 8 Pack forum.

Now that's a sign of a good chip. Most can only go to 4.2-4.3 mine needed a good 1.295v to get to 4.5

Im thinking the same on my i5 3570K. It runs cooler stock temps with the stock cooler and toothpaste for the thermal compound than most stock setups ive seen.

OC your 2500k to at least 4.2ghz :)
and get a cheap 2nd hand 460 for £50 OR if you have more money try to sell yours and get a gtx 660 or a hd 7850. (something around £150)
