Hi guys. I have posted in the Mist of Pandaria thread about my guild and mentioned that we are about to embark on our first Classic Raid this Sunday. The guild is a friendly, social one where most of us are full time workers and have families. We started as a re-roll guild, purely because all of us wanted to take our time and not rush to level 90.

We cap every 10 levels, currently capped at 60 for us to clear all the classic raids. We have a strong belief that as we are mixed bag of experienced players and new to the roles some are taking on that no-one will be excluded from raiding. Everyone will have a go at some point. No blame will be pointed at anyone if things go wrong. We simply just start again. Advising and helping along the way.

We are looking for people who would like to join our Raiding team/s or who would like to start fresh and re-roll something new. If you are wanting to join then you can apply here http://soulsoftime.enjin.com/home.

There is more info on that website. We are only accepting players at 60 or below. So if this sounds like your cup of tea. give me a shout.

Sounds intriguing.....Ive always wanted to try Horde, and I am the only one of my friends still playing WoW. Might make a brand new char and hit you guys up for an invite I think
 
You're very welcome to be all means. Im off out for a bit to walk dog but be on shorty after. If your online send in game mail to me Zanezu saying who you are and if your on ill invite you.
 
Might be interested in this, havent really played any pandaria although i do have it, could be interested in rolling up a DK or a Rogue and coming to play :)
 
This sounds like a really nice idea, best of luck with it, afaik AQ40,BWL,MC are the only level 60 40 man raids still going though. Such a shame original Naxx and ZG where closed.
 
Good idea. I'm already in a guild with some RL mates on Horde Argent Dawn but do feel free to give me a shout if you need a hand with anything.

Yeah i think they are. However, they can be done with far fewer than 40 players. MC was tried out the other day with 3 guildies. They got to last boss.
 
This sounds fun but pointless imo, the new talent system and class revamps etc will never give the same satisfaction from back in the day.. I still remember the screams on vent when we downed Huhuran in AQ40

I HATED stacking resistance gear for boss fights, that's one thing I am glad they did away with :p

Crappy bloody cloth nature res gear :mad:

Old raids are fun, but as stated the class changes, talents and otherwise trivialise the old content. :(

Not played Wow since the first expansion pack. The 40man raids were awesome and so much fun. So tempted by this but I might pass as it might ruin my good memorys :)
 
With all the revamps of gear and talents the content will be a total breeze now even with 10 players so it wouldn't be long until you cleared those three raids and were looking at the level 70 content.

Its a shame that the older content just gets gutted really.

I sort of agree, I remember doing Maraudon for the gear but you've got to admit, in vanilla WoW it actually gave you stuff to do outside of raiding.

I hate how in MoP they just implemented a sh loads of daily quests which is boring as hell, and pet battles is only fun for so long, I only raid in MoP now cause there just isn't anything to do outside of it

Made a char on the server last night, will catch up with you for an invite when I see you online.

By the way, I notice this is an RP server.....is your guild an RP guild? I don't really get into role playing.

Everyone on Argent Dawn does seem super polite though, Im used to PvP servers....:p

Remember those molten core giants at the very start of, and scattered around the raid which 40 man raids would potentially wipe on?

You can now one shot those.

Remember the epic feeling when you take down Ragnaros in a 40 man raid?

You can now have him down, solo, in 10 seconds.

Oh how times have changed!
