Hello gents

Ok so I am getting annoyed with my gtx 680 sli set up. Getting stutter, slow down etc in many games tomb raider I get FPS drops and bad micro stutter, crysis 3, etc .. I have latest drivers.

When I disable sli yes I get the FPS drop but the game seems much smoother. Should I sell them and get a Titan ?? I have had 6950 x fire before the 680 sli and had no issues like this. I am gaming at 1080p and 120Hz but plan on upgrading monitor soon.

Thank you

yes tried that and it works in some games.
But take tomb raider and adaptive vsync awful stutter turn it off and use in game vsync much better but lots of slow down

I don't know much about it or how you enable it only that its a Nvidia feature which is supposed to eliminate or minimise micro stutter. Someone here with a SLI setup will know what to do. :)

Thank you it's google time. :)

Is the stutter there whenever the frame rate drops below 60fps ? i notice this in farcry 3 a lot when the framerate drops below 60fps to even 58fps i get stutter, when at 60 fps i get no stutter.

using 120Hz monitor and its there both above and below 120fps. I can be at 120Fps and it feels like its chugging.

Hi, make sure the 3d Settings in the NVIDIA control panel are set to performance instead of quality. Have you already tried if you will face same issues without overclock on the CPU? Are the GPUs overclocked when you see this issue?

Both with and without the oc also set the performance rather than quality
