Fresh dead flies are fine, but you need to place them in the 'mouth' in such a way that the thick trigger hairs are touched properly (two at least), thereby causing the leaf to close and the cillia to interlock correctly. Even with tweezers this can be a tricky operation. If you haven't done it properly the seal won't be good enough and it can get an infection.*

Also, don't keep triggering the hairs just to see it close as this can lead to deathsville for the plant.

*This is all from memory and might be utter codswallop.

Almost ashamed to admit how stoked I was to get this wee guy delivered today :D

Cool stuff mrk. Geddit? Cool? :p:cool:

I do like my Noctua fans.

How much has the foam helped with sound/noise reduction? Did you get a pre-cut pack specifically made for your case or did you get a big pack and cut it to size?

That joke was.... cool ¬_¬

The foam makes little difference to sound removal as the PC is quiet anyway, I just use them because it seems to help keep off the floor panel inside. I got them from work, just cut a few large foam slices down to size and fit them in :)

Oops yes, dust. Even with a dust filter on the intakes, dust still gets in over time.

Looks like you will have negative pressure due to more fans exhausting air than in taking. So dust will be sucked in through any unfiltered holes in the case, of which there are many!

I have blocked the top fan grill up apart from a 120mm fan which is acting as an intake to supply the cpu cooler.

Oh I've thought of this ages ago and balanced the airflow using the fanmate and software controlled exhaust fans, see the Speedfan screenshot, both exhaust fans are limited and the cooler fans are controlled by the H80 pump.

What I meant was dust will find its way in even with a fully controlled airflow case over time.

Some PC speakers, more or less 5 star rating on the rainforest. Really well made, crystal clear sound, couldn't be happier!

The thing is, unless I missed something, some of the Noctua range have the lowest noise levels around, these are 6.2dBA at the speed I'm running at while still having decent airflow!

With that in mind, the colour of the frame was not on the requirements list :-P
