Good gaming rig?

AMD FX8350,
GTX 660 ti,
128gb SSD,
1TB HDD,
8GB 1600MHz RAM,

Also does anyone know if the CM storm trooper is as good case as all the reviews make it out to be? I want a quiet case with still decent airflow. Bare in mind I'm on a pretty small budget so raising the spec of the SSD or adding more ram is out of the question... for now, anyway! Thanks a bunch!

Agree with above 7950 is a great card and the free games make it epic value.

On terms of the rest of the build. Id personally drop the storm trooper for a cheaper case. The Zalman Z9 or Z11 is very good for the money. Great cooling and features.

What is your overall budget?

The 8350 performs similar to 3570K in most games (and in a few better). A i3 would not be a good choice over a 8350, if it was within budget.

Well, it doesn't really does it? Most games don't use more than 4 cores (But this list is growing) and core for core, the PD still pales over the Intel.
You might be able to get them to yield the same results with X GPU set up, but Y GPU set up might show a huge difference (And the cores of the FX8350 will be running harder)

Although I'd take an FX8350 over an i3.
