Oh yeah....Batman Arkham Origins is coming to Wii U also!![]()
hope some big hitters are announced/shown. unrelated (ish) but, only 2 months till E3hope some big hitters are announced/shown.
Really want to hear about Smash Bros. 4

Seconded. If there is any franchise which embodies local multiplayer it's Smash Brothers.
Or Godleneye, but not having an N64 we enjoyed Quake2 on the PS1 more![]()

Hopeful we'll see at least a teaser shot of the new Zelda game to get an idea of what Art Style they're going to apply this time...Whatever Retro are working on (which better be Metroid)...F-Zero (Please for the love of God) and some awesome surprises.

Doubt we'll see any of the new Zelda, the last Nintendo direct that mentioned it stated it was still at the planning stages.
Im really intrigued to see what Retro has been up to, i bet it'll be an awesome annoucement whatever it is![]()

Metroid on the Wii was comfortably one of the best games I've played for a long, long time. I still rank it very highly.
Indeed mate, I actually loved the Original Metroid Prime, it really was near perfection in terms of Story, Gameplay, Control Mechanics for me...
I would like to think they could make a fantastic Wii U Metroid Prime game to be honest, they must show us what they've worked on this year.
It's whether they continue to use the Wii Remote or the control pad. I suppose they must use the control pad, but I really did find using the Wii Remote a completely charming experience. As with Skyward Sword, weapons like the whip, bow etc were all improved with the Wii controls.
KillZone 3, with Play controls, I found much improved. I suppose it's a good situation for developers to have.
I think what we have to remember is that Nintendo know we have options as to how we play our games now.
Skyward Swords controls were pretty much perfect for me and I enjoyed playing the game this way, got really immersed...point being these controls are already in place however due to the Pad being the main control now they may revert.
I would hope with the coding in place they could implement both methods of control, however it would be to the detriment of certain puzzles etc which use the Wiimote (Door keys being one...although the analogue could work I guess).
Similarly we had Black Ops 2 which Activision really did a great job with in terms of control options, we had full Wii Mote + Nunchuck support and of course the Gamepad so you would think Retro could do similar for Prime. When you think back to it the GC control actually worked really well in the game in all honesty and of course the Gamepad lends itself to the scanning elements.
Will be interesting to see what methods they decide to adopt but my preference would have course be a mix of both.
As for Zelda...we may get our first inclination of what control route they go down with the Wind Waker remake as they could easily implement some motion controls into that game since it's a proper remake.

i hope nintendo go with the art style of the tech demo from e3 a few years ago. i know there is not much hope of it staying the same with nintendo even saying there changing the art style but i really liked the look and feel of it.
i know we will get wind walker hd first but is there a set launch date yet?
Pikmin 3 in August, so much for launch window.
