Ok so i've been getting the odd random crash when playing bf3 the past two/three weeks, (since getting my new gpu, but could be a co-incidence) It normally happens when i've been playing for a fair few hours but it happened just now 5min into a game. Its defo not the temps my case is nice and cool and after doing several burn in tests and running the game and nipping out for a second or two to check the temps its never gone above 60.

Any ideas what the hells going on? When i say it freezes it really freezes i cant alt f4 out the game, the reset and power off buttons dont work all i can do is turn it off at the psu. If it helps diagnose the issue i can still talk with my friends on skype whilst its completely dead lol.

Cant find my cammera but did find an image of what my screen looks like online.

I'd be most greatfull of any help

Any clue on how to fix it? I have the Sapphire ATI HD 7850 2gb. Overclocked it too 1050 and 5600. Runs fine on furmark and unengine with no dramas and every other game fine just seems to be bf3, theres a new beta driver to download but i dont like the idea of useing anything beta just incase

gpu is crahing, set power control slider to 20%,if its still doing it either lower your core and memory slightly or add a touch of voltage with sapphire trixx

beta drivers are fine to use but its not that its gpu crashing

Sliders upto 20% already will try the sapphire trixx thanks, if all that fails i'll have to underclock it a tad i guess :) Thanks. Oh how much should i up it? An extra 5%?

see what the default voltage is first as they vary with each gpu,and ill tell you

sapphire trixx will show you the default voltage

Drop your memory OC.

Just because you can pass a furmark / heaven etc doesn't mean you have a stable OC.

try setting it to 1090v to start with and see if its better in bf3

you can set it in trixx and close trixx it will stay at 1090v even if you restart ect, untill you re install gpu drivers

you can keep core and mem the same as what you had before just try a touch more voltage,
