No matter what I try, AMD drivers will not install. (7950's)

Its looking that way or install windows onto a temp HDD to test and see if the drivers install.

Are you using VIRTU? If Yes, and your VGA cable is connected to your mobo then uninstall Virtu, connect cable to GPU instead of mobo and then install Catalyst.
Even if you have Virtu installed and are not using it, uninstall it anyway and try installing catalyst again.

I had this problem once, i had to install drivers from disc then instal latest drivers over the top of the old

Reformatted and problem was sold nothing else worked ! Cheera for the help though guys !

Looks like you had software conflicting with the drivers.

yuk, I feel your pain man. I had exactly the same issues going from NVidia to AMD a few years back. Spent 10's of hours trying to fix and never did. Thankfully you got it sorted after a reformat I never did, will never buy AMD again...
