There's an inch split on the sole of the left shoe of my favourite red adidas superstars. It's letting water in. I'd buy another pair except you can't buy them anymore in this colour. Can a shoe mender fix it? Perhaps he'll have some heavy duty glue/sealant/resin?

How long before the "contact adhesive in my shoe.. Foot stuck!! Help?!!" Thread :D

Fill the gap with sealant from the inside , let sealant dry , profit

patch it and never let anyone see the bottom of your trainer ever

Unstitch the whole sole and replace with sole from new but wrong colour shoe

Find out if your local market has a shoe mender, not sure what they would use though probably just your average super glue

p.s you should never have expected a serious reply in GD

If you really want to join it back together, look for a product called Shoe Goo. Just bought and used some myself to fix some skate shoes and five ten mountain bike shoes, it works really well.

Yeah I read about that stuff earlier, good you can recommend it though.

Just make sure you find a way to hold it together while it sticks! If you want to smooth it when you've applied it use an ice cube too, it'll smooth it but won't stick.
