Got myself a paint station to work on my Warhammer and Gundam models:

How are those palettes? I currently have a flat one but I find that even with some retarder in the paint, it still dries out a little quick. Are the wells good enough to keep paint fluid for a little longer or are they still quite exposed (I'm assuming they're wells and it's not just bumpy - bit hard to tell on this little screen :o)?

Nice clock, where did you buy that from?

I got mine in an Oregon Scientific store while in Hong Kong, but you can find it on Amazon too (see post by Eames). It's called: "Oregon Scientific BA900 Crystal Weather Station".

As you noticed from the picture, the bumps form wells in the palette. They are quite shallow, and I suppose by forming a pool of paint it will have less surface area to dry than on a flat surface. I only got these today, and I haven't had to paint anything yet so I can't comment on whether these wells provide a noticeable effect on paint drying time.

A little USB fan and hub, mainly using it to keep my mouse hand dry/cool during gaming sessions when it's a little warm:

A nice leather case for my Note II with a stand:

Another case for when the one above breaks:

Ah, okay. Cheers. :)

I used to make those laser crystal blocks for a living, and flabbergasted at the cost of that alarm clock. That block would cost circa 12quid to get a engraved, then just stick it on an alarm clock with LEDs.

Did you really pay full whack for that? I find looking at the window when I wakeup highly effective at seeing what the weather is like.

It was a gift, and it looked nice :) And you're right, there are more effective ways of checking the weather than using the clock.

I got it while I was in Hong Kong. I did a quick Google search and it came up with a few results. Just search for "ufo case cover note 2".

I searched Ebay for it, and only result on there isn't the same as the one I have.

These cases are very popular over there. Some are like wallets even with slots for cards. Almost half the smart phones I saw had cases like these on.

Returned the £90 Ludacris earphones for these and they sound much better

All of these rapper/Monster branded phones are pure rubbish. You’ve done yourself a favour by returning them and getting something actually good :)

Shame that a lot of other people don’t see it and will continue to be sheep.

Saw this for 2p under £17quid last week (RRP of £40quid), Just had to buy it for when I buy my New Wheels (which has a USB plug-in on the audio :) )
