Micky Mouse and the castle of illusion remake!

Just heard about this game being re-made, i can remember playing this on the megadrive i believe it was, and always remembered it, think you collected apples but cant remember! Really looking forward to this and will buy it for wii u on release!

Not much info on it yet, just a short teaser trailer.

I used to love this game on the megadrive. There was a sequel called World Of Illusion which was ace as well.

Sega and Disney reveal re-imagined Mickey Mouse game will launch this summer on PSN, PC, and XBLA.

Can't imagine why it won't come out, but I don't think Wii U has been mentioned by Sega yet.

Well i was just going by what it says on shacknews, says WII U on console release details, so i hope its true! But can just get it on pc i guess if not.

There was a thread on it in the PC section too. I remember playing it on the Master System quite a lot, could only have been 7 or 8 at the oldest, the rage at some of the bosses. :mad:

is this definitely the megadrive version being remade and not the GG/master system version? I used to love the master system version and was thinking of picking it back up.

Seems that Disney are renewing some of their old connections with game developers as I can't wait for duck tales.

I had world of illusion and it was one of the best games! Any co-op game was really annoying/challenging though because the C button on one of the controllers didn't work so one person had to do all of the 'attacking'/helping up, etc, haha.

Another great game was Aladdin.

Used to love the old Disney games on the MD, thought Tail Spin was pretty good. You can't beat Quackshot though.

Has anyone bought this? I have just updated my sub for PS+ and noticed it was available. After checking out a couple of videos it looks great. I am going to get the demo first though. For a tenner though cant complain... It even has the same music as the original (mixed a little differently)

Although watching the videos I am not too sure about the commentary.

Am I missing something here? Been trying to dl this for a few weeks. Everything suggests it has been released and there is a bit in psn for it but no ability to purchase or download it.
