I have a pair of Brooks minimals for running, but I think I'm gonna prefer the Free Runs, they are extremely comfortable and light weight.

Is it noisy when typing? I ask because I like the key travel on them but hate the noise they make having owned a cherry mechanical in the past as well as an IBM.

I also spot an Ergotron MX, you sir have fine taste in well engineered computer accessories!

Nice. Very similar spec to my own!

If you have an issues with the motherboard and the CPU let me know. Good board, but seems to randomly cause BSODs when idle with the Intel chips. Haven't quite got to the bottom of it yet.

I went for the MX Cherry Blue switches, so mine is quite noisy! I did a lot of research about the switches and chose them because I do a fair bit of typing and I really like the clicky noise they make. You could go for Red or Black switches though which would be a lot quieter (no audible click). There's also the option to make it super quiet by adding Rubber O-Ring Switch Dampeners but they might mess with the feel of the keys.

I am very fussy with what I buy, it has to work well and look good. It's a curse

I like my Purflow2's but would like to try the Nike's you can never have enough running shoes once you have Off-Road, Minimalist and Normal cushioned, whats another pair lol

Cheap, fit ok and come in reasonable styles. First time I've ever bought clothes online. Helps when you know the size and fit though.

Things I got lately.

Starting off with the stuff from my trip.

Some grow your own crystal, sweets, Skittles with flavours that don't match the colours, chocolates and food from Muji. Camera strap, Apple Sours and Moro, which is a kind of Mars bar thing with a tag line - A Fist full of awesome.

Then trainers I got when i got home.

Any idea if you can buy those japanesse sweets (in that packaging) in the uk ? they look like the could good!
