Tartan Fancy Dress Ideas!

Going to a fancy dress party this weekend, theme is tartan.

Obviously a kilt is the obvious (obviously obvious) choice, but that's obvious. So I don't want to go down that route. Nor do I fancy going in drag.

So what on Earth do I go as? And more importantly, where the hell could I get tartan get up from for Saturday?

Go as a sexy Scottish raccoon. You get to wear a raccoon mask, show a bit of leg and if you're lucky you'll get dateraped.

Go as Alex Salmond, dressed in full highland gear to inspire the masses but as if you've only just lost the independence referendum so plenty of smelling of urine, looking dejected and slugging on a bottle of buckie whilst sweating profusely.

I found some awesome female tartan trousers in a British Red Cross shop. A trendy shop in town wanted £30 for a pair, I paid £4. They do smell of Matilda. Who probably died in them. But they were cheap!

What top to don? Tempted to risk an England top, but I'll get stabbed.
