*** The Official FIFA 13 Thread ***

When my internet gets switched on at my new gaff on Monday I'm contemplating putting something like this together. It's either this or a XX21 with Lavezzi Aguero Palacio:

I'd say put Messi CF, that position gets so much freedom you want your best player on the ball. I'd still have Aguero up top too. Palacio CAM with another argentine CAM.

The CAM's sit so wide though. When I was playing this formation Carlos Eduardo and Taarabt had so much freedom you couldn't not cut in and shoot...!
 
I just used them to play crosses and through balls and if I did cut in and shoot it made no difference because everyone is completely two-footed anyway.
 
A lot of angry folk on tonight - I've only completed one game at that was my first game which I lost. Everyone's quit after then and 3 rage messages out of 5 games. To be fair, I'm not exactly chuffed when a 5 at the back team pops up so I don't blame them in that respect! Ha ha.

Honestly you are a **** to use 5atb - no other way to interprete it. Its a bigger faux pas than cutback goals IMO ;)

Only 1 out of 5 teams is 5 at the back. I wanted to try it and it's amazingly fun while still acknowledging it's not very nice for the opponent!

In my defense I do play on Balanced and not Defensive/Ultra D :D.

I've had 2 out of 3 rage quits tonight - though they very very rarely send me any messages :(
 
I think people are less inclined to send you messages after being completely outplayed than if you just play a ****y formation with a sweaty team. Or if you celebrate like a nob. Which I don't do unless they start it. But once it has begun, I go all out.

I like it! Well, most of it, Messi at CF or RCAM in 4231 is something in trying once his price is down a bit more, I worry about his fragility at CF though, would be battered all over the place :(
