Grrrr,

My sister never listens

She had a pristine condition iPhone 4s 16GB. Just got a txt from her telling me that she's sold it back to apple for £220 and bought a Nokia C2 05 for £65  why on earth would she do that

I know she wanted some money, but she's gained £155 and ended up with a rubbish phone

This is a bit of a rant, but I wish she would sometimes ask me first before doing daft things like this.

Has anyone else been in the same boat with a family member or friend doing silly things like this

Always, but I've learned to ignore it. End of the day if they are happy with the result why does it matter? Ignorance is bliss etc.

One of my family has been doing stupid things since he was born. I wouldn't be surprised if he has honorary degrees in stupidity from Oxbridge and the US RedBricks.

Damn, I just realised that person is me. DOH!!!

Meh.

Not sure why anyone would want to go back to buttons after using a good touch screen phone, but each to their own and it's given her some money back out of it.

It's not the fact that she's sold the phone I'm annoyed about, it's that surely she would have gotten more than £220. Plus at the end of the day, I know for a FACT she will waste that £155 on rubbish tat and then she will have a rubbish phone and still no money.

I'll just add that a few months ago she won £1,000 from work. Within a month it was spent with nothing to show for it.

She obviously just doesn't care that much about mobile phones, which is fine, last time I checked? /whiteknight

The thing is she does. She loved her iPhone

I think she had a problem with buying things. Her ebay feedback number is over 4,000 and that's things she's bought, not sold

That's women for ya i'm afraid;)

My brother has bought and sold an xbox 360 more times than I can remember. He'll sell it (for a loss obviously) as he thinks he can live without it. A few months later he'll buy it back when he gets bored. He gets rid of all the games as well so loses a lot of money.

I gave up with trying to reason with him a long time ago when it comes to finances.
